Fritz Krausch

Fritz Krausch (born May 21, 1938 in Holzhausen near Leipzig ) is a former functionary of the GDR block party LDPD . There he was chairman of the Berlin district committee and a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR .

Life

Krausch, the son of an employee, attended the Humboldt High School in Leipzig and passed the Abitur . From 1956 to 1961 he studied mathematics at the Karl Marx University in Leipzig . He completed his studies as a mathematician. From 1961 to 1984 Krausch worked for and in the metallurgical industry: from 1961 to 1964 he worked as a research assistant at the Leipzig Research Institute for the Technological Development of Black Metallurgy , from 1964 to 1966 he was head of electronic data acquisition and processing for black metallurgy at VEB Stahl- und Walzwerk Hennigsdorf , from 1966 to 1968 department head of organization and computing technology at VVB Stahl- und Walzwerke Berlin, from 1969 to 1974 he was director of the information and data center of the VEB Rohrkombinat Riesa . From 1974 to 1984 he finally worked as a research assistant at the State Secretary in the Ministry of Machine Tool and Processing Machinery.

Krausch joined the LDPD in 1962. From 1969 to 1974 he acted as chairman of the Riesa district association and from 1979 to 1983 as chairman of the LDPD district association Berlin-Lichtenberg . From July 1983 Krausch was a member of the secretariat and from April 5, 1984 to January 21, 1988 chairman of the LDPD's Berlin district committee.

From 1963 to 1964 he was a member of the Leipzig District Assembly and from 1986 to 1990 a member of the People's Chamber, where he was first deputy chairman of the mandate review committee. Krausch was also a member of the central board of the LDPD, the Berlin district committee of the National Front of the GDR and from June 1986 to 1990 a member of the Berlin city council .
