Fritz von Ameln

Fritz von Ameln (born October 16, 1901 in Jüchen ; † July 6, 1970 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending elementary school and an administrative apprenticeship in a local government as well as the external Abitur, Fritz von Ameln studied law and political science as well as economics and business administration. He was promoted to Dr. jur. PhD at the University of Cologne .

The activity as an industrial clerk followed from 1937 an independent business management and tax practice in Düren . From 1960 to 1968, von Ameln was director of Nordwestlotto in North Rhine-Westphalia.

From July 13, 1954 to July 23, 1966, von Ameln was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected directly in the 007 Düren constituency.

He was a member of the district council of the Düren district from 1956 to 1961. From November 1956 to April 1960 he was district administrator for the Düren district.

On February 16, 1967, he was awarded the Great Cross of Merit .

Since 1925 he was a member of the Catholic student union KDSt.V. Asgard Cologne.
