Wilhelm Anton Cremer

Wilhelm Anton Cremer (born December 13, 1909 in Düren ; † November 14, 1981 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending elementary school and high school , the son of the Düren bank director Matthäus Cremer studied law . After passing the 1st and 2nd state examinations , he worked as a lawyer .

Since 1928 he was a member of the Catholic student union AV Austria Innsbruck .

From December 6, 1952 to September 27, 1958, Cremer was a member of the district council of the Düren district .

Public offices

From May 8, 1954 to November 17, 1956, he was District Administrator of the Düren district.

In 1971 he was appointed Knight of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Eugène Cardinal Tisserant and invested in the Imperial Cathedral of St. Bartholomew in Frankfurt am Main on December 4, 1971 by Lorenz Cardinal Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy .

On April 23, 1979 Cremer was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany .
