history

Tzschetzschnow (also Cessonovo , Cetzenow , Tscheczczenow , Tzschetzschnow , Czetzenow , Zetzenow ) emerged during the migration of peoples around the year 800, when Slavs settled west of the Oder . The village was first mentioned in 1230 in the list of privileges of the Moritz monastery in Halle as Cessonovo .

“Archbishop Albrecht's privilege , in which he gives the cloister of St. Moritz the village called Ceſſonovo, located in the land of Lebus, with all justice and parish fief, and over a hundred hoofs in the same country, with the exception of the Vogtey, the imo der Grace Erzbiſchoff alone for the benefit of the present. de Dato Ao. 1230 "

- List of privileges of the Moritz monastery in Halle

Since around 1423 the city of Frankfurt (Oder) exercised the church patronage ( Latin Jus Patronatus ) over the village of Tzschetzschnow. Since 1536 the Freihof belonged to the city of Frankfurt. Thus Tzschetzschnow was a combing village. In 1628 - during the Thirty Years' War - Tzschetzschnow was occupied by imperial troops. During the Seven Years' War , after the Battle of Kunersdorf (August 12, 1759) , Russian troops occupied Frankfurt (Oder) and its surrounding villages, including Tzschetzschnow. From 1827 Tzschetzschnow belonged to the Lebus district. The first post appeared in 1884 . On September 16, 1902, in the grocery store , a telephone box opened and in 1907 there was the first gas-powered street lighting for the lighting and extinguishing of each riparian itself was responsible. From 1827 to 1945 Tzschetzschnow belonged to the Lebus district . When the construction of the Fürstenwalde- Frankfurt motorway started on September 22, 1934, many residents had to sell their land to the Reichsautobahnleitung.

As part of the National Socialist Germanization of Sorbian place names, the place was renamed "Güldendorf" on October 29, 1937. In contrast to other places, it never got its original place name back. When the Second World War broke out in 1939, most of the highway construction workers were drafted into military service. At that time only the deepened route for the four-lane motorway had been excavated. By order of the Soviet city command, Güldendorf belonged to the Frankfurt (Oder) district from 1945. The municipal council decided the incorporation on October 27, 1946; on October 29, 1947 Güldendorf was assigned to the city of Frankfurt .; the announcement took place on May 30, 1947. In the 1950s, the construction of the motorway continued.
