G7 summit in London 1977
The G7 summit in London in 1977 took place on May 7th and 8th, 1977. It was the second meeting of the Group of Seven that had emerged from the Rambouillet meeting of the Group of Six in 1975 . 10 Downing Street (the seat of the British Prime Minister) in downtown London (United Kingdom) served as the conference venue .
As a result, the Downing Street Summit Declaration was signed.
