The G7 summit in Bonn in 1985 was the 11th summit of the heads of government of the Group of Seven . The meeting took place under the chairmanship of the German Chancellor Helmut Kohl from May 2-4, 1985 in the Palais Schaumburg and was, after 1978 , the second in Germany and Bonn.
