The G7 summit in Venice in 1987 was the 13th summit of the leaders of the Group of Seven . The meeting took place under the chairmanship of the Italian Prime Minister Amintore Fanfani from June 8-10, 1987. The venue was the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in the Venetian lagoon.
