Gernot Kellermayr

Gernot Kellermayr (born April 5, 1966 in Linz ) is a former Austrian decathlete .

Life

At the 1990 European Athletics Championships in Split he came in 14th place, and at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona he was eleventh.

In 1993 he was tested positive for the anabolic steroid stenolon during a training check and was banned for four years for doping .

In 1989 he became Austrian champion. In the hall he was national champion in heptathlon in 1990, 1991 and 1993 and in 1992 in the 200-meter run .

Gernot Kellermayr started for the UPS Vöcklabruck. He was trained by Heimo Tiefenthaler and Siegfried Stark.
