Gloria - Life does not wait is a romantic comedy by Sebastián Lelio that was released in German cinemas on August 22, 2019. The film is a remake of the 2013 film Gloria, also directed by Sebastián Lelio . The main role is played by Oscar winner Julianne Moore . The premiere took place at the Toronto International Film Festival 2018 .

Gloria is the mother of two adult children, spirited, divorced and a little lonely at times. She spends her days with an office job, her nights on the dance floor at singles parties in Los Angeles clubs . One of those nights she meets Arnold, who, like Gloria, is divorced and single. What begins like an adventurous picture book romance full of eroticism and butterflies in the stomach soon has to face important issues in life such as family, the ability to relate and commitment.

With Gloria - Life does not wait , director Sebastián Lelio wrote and produced the US remake of his own Chilean film Gloria of the same name , for which Paulina García was awarded the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the 2013 Berlinale .
