The Gmina Skrzyszów is a rural community in the Powiat Tarnowski of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name with about 3750 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality borders the city of Tarnów in the northwest . The stream Wątok belongs to the waters.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Tarnów Voivodeship .

The following five villages are part of the rural community (gmina wiejska) Skrzyszów with a school administration office :
Ładna, Łękawica, Pogórska Wola, Skrzyszów and Szynwałd .
