The Gmina Sulechów [ su'lɛxuf ] is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Zielonogórski of the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of the same name ( German Züllichau ) with about 17,000 inhabitants.
geography
The city is located in the southeast of the Lubusz Voivodeship. It borders in the south on the Oder and the voivodeship capital Zielona Góra (Grünberg in Silesia) . Only a small part of the community is to the left of the river.
The two state roads DK3 ( S3 ) and DK32 cross in the main town .

The town itself and 20 villages with Schulzenämter belong to the town-and-country municipality Sulechów (official German names until 1945) :
