Goulolo is an East Timorese Suco in the administrative office of Cailaco ( Bobonaro municipality ).

Before the 2015 territorial reform, Goulolo had an area of ​​16.09 km². Now there are 15.74 km². The Suco is located in the southeast of the administrative office of Cailaco. To the south lies the Suco Atudara , southwest Manapa , west Meligo and north Guenu Lai . In the east, across the Marobo , lies the Atsabe administrative office (municipality of Ermera ) with its Suco Laubono . The northern border river Aimera and the southern border river Boroulo also flow into the Marobo .

A small river has its source in the center of the Sucos and later flows into the Aimera. To the east of it are the villages of Poetete , Suri-Ubu ( Suriuba ) and Mubaa , to the west the towns of Malilia , Pasarema and Aitasiabe . There is a primary school in Poetete and a helipad for emergencies in Malilia. The Suco is poorly connected to the outside world. For the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2007 , the ballot boxes had to be brought to the polling station by helicopter and picked up.

The four Aldeias Ilat-Bote , Malilia , Poetete and Suri-Ubu are located in the Suco .

Residents

1149 inhabitants live in the Suco (2015), 581 of them are men and 568 are women. The population density is 73.0 inhabitants / km². There are 223 households in the Suco. Over 95% of the population name Kemak as their mother tongue. Small minorities speak Bunak or Habun .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Tito da Cruz was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections won Faustino Mau Bere .
