Raiheu ( Raeheu ) is an East Timorese Suco in the administrative office of Cailaco ( Bobonaro municipality ).

Before the 2015 regional reform, Raiheu had an area of ​​11.76 km². Now it is 13.99 km². The Suco is located in the southeast of the administrative office of Cailaco. To the west is Suco Manapa, which also belongs to Cailaco, and Atudara to the north . In the south are the administrative office of Maliana with its Suco Ritabou and the administrative office of Bobonaro with its sucos Ilat-Laun and Soileco . To the east of the Marobo River lies the Atsabe administrative office with its Suco Laubono belonging to the municipality of Ermera . The Babonasolan River flows into the Marobo and follows the border with the Bobonaro Administrative Office. In the center of Sucos are the larger Sucos villages. These are Haareme , Daru Asa ( Daruasa ), Ohoana ( Oho Ana , Ohana ), Folete and Manaema ( Manarema ).

The Suco has a medical station, a helipad for emergencies and a primary school, the Escola Primaria Raiheu .

In the Suco are the three Aldeias Daru Asa , Lete Aituto and Ohoana .

Residents

The Suco has 1104 inhabitants (2015), 561 of whom are men and 543 women. The population density is 78.9 inhabitants / km². There are 211 households in the Suco. Over 95% of the population name Kemak as their mother tongue. A small minority speaks Tetum Prasa .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Afonso do Rego was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections won Deolindo Martins .
