Dau Udo ( Daudo , Dau Udu , Daudu ) is an East Timorese suco in the administrative office of Cailaco ( municipality of Bobonaro ).

Before the 2015 regional reform, Dau Udo had an area of ​​16.93 km². Now it is 8.95 km². The Suco lies to the east of the Cailaco administrative office. In the south lies Suco Guenu Lai , which also belongs to Cailaco , in the west Meligo , in the northwest Atudara and in the north Purugua . To the east, beyond the Marobo, lies the administrative office Hatulia with its sucos Leimea-Craic and Samara (Hatulia) belonging to the municipality of Ermera . The River Timerema , which flows into the Hatopaci on the border with Meligo , a tributary of the Nunura, has its source in the Suco .

The places Gerotete , Sah-Heu ( Saiheu ) and Banerema are located on the Timerema . Further south is the village of Nunutau . There is a primary school in Sah-Heu, the Escola Primaria Dau Udo .

The two Aldeias Cauloco Lete and Sah-Heu are located in the Suco .

Residents

500 inhabitants live in the Suco (2015), of which 264 are men and 236 women. The population density is 55.9 inhabitants / km². There are 94 households in the Suco. Over 95% of the population name Kemak as their mother tongue. Small minorities speak Bunak or Tetum Prasa .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Julio Viana was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections , Agapito S. Loe Mau won .
