course

The Grabowa is a river in Pomerania . It rises at a height of 180 meters above sea level in the Wockminsee south of Sławno (Schlawe) and flows into the Wieprza (Wipper) below Darłowo (Rügenwalde ) .

Passing Polanów (Pollnow) to Krąg (Krangen) the Grabowa has a steep gradient until it flows north through a wide meadow valley. At Jeźyce (Altenhagen) a river arm branches off to the confluence with the Jezioro Bukowo (Buckower See) .

At Malechowo (Walchow) on the Grabowa, Duke Mestwin II of Pomerania and the Camminer Bishop Hermann von Gleichen agreed on a defense pact in 1287 .
