Grasshopper Cup 2019

The Grasshopper Cup 2019 took place from March 26 to 31, 2019 in Zurich , Switzerland . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2018/19 and belonged to the PSA World Tour Gold category .

Last year's winner was Ramy Ashour , who did not run again. The top seed Mohamed Elshorbagy , who was defeated by Ramy Ashour in the final last year, won the tournament after an 11: 8, 13: 11 and 11: 8 final victory over Tarek Momen .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 24 players. The eight best players were seeded and given a bye in the first round. Per Wildcard received Dimitri Steinmann a spot in the main draw.

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. The amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 110,000.
