Gregorio del Pilar (Concepcion) is a municipality in the Philippine province of Ilocos Sur . In 2015 it had 4875 inhabitants. The city is named after the Filipino war hero and General Gregorio del Pilar . Since the place is at the foot of Mount Tirad , part of the area belongs to the Tirad Pass National Park .
Gregorio del Pilar is divided into the following seven barangays :
- Alfonso
- Bussot
- Concepcion
- Dapdappig
- Matue-Butarag
- Poblacion Norte
- Poblacion Sur
