Grenadines (St. Vincent and the Grenadines)

Grenadines is an administrative unit ( Parish ) in the island state of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean . It is the fourth largest Parish of the land area, but consists of the northern the Grenadines (Engl. Grenadines ), a cross-border chain of islands between the islands of St. Vincent and Grenada and geographically belongs to the Leeward Islands and the Lesser Antilles . It lies between the Caribbean Sea in the west and the Atlantic Ocean in the east. Accordingly, the Parish forms the larger half of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The main town is Port Elizabeth .
