Gustav Heinrich Baron von Igelström ( Russian Густав Генрих Игельстром * 1695 in Livonia ; † March 2, 1771 ) also known as Gustaf Henrik Igelström, was a Livonian land marshal and district administrator .

Life

Career

Gustav Heinrich VI was taught at the Lyceum in Riga from 1708 . In 1717 he began his studies in Königsberg . From 1723 he was the landowner of Kerrafer and Laiwa and in 1739 was raised to the Polish baron together with his brothers Harald Wilhelm († 1760), Otto Reinhold († 1751), Leonard Johann and Georg (* 1698) . From 1747 to 1759 he was land marshal in Livonia. In 1750 he stayed in Moscow. From 1759 he was a Livonian district administrator, head of the church and a member of the court . From 1767 to 1769 he was deputy land marshal.

Origin and family

Gustav Heinrich came from the Swedish - Baltic noble family Igelström , who had lived in Livonia since 1671. His father was Harald Igelström († 1710, killed on the Daugava ), Swedish and later Polish major , who was married to Anne Maria, née von Klot (1674-1710). Gustav Heinrich married Margaretha von Albedyll from the Lodenhof house in Livonia in 1731 . Their descendants, his sons, were raised to the rank of imperial count in 1792 :
