Gustav Unfried (born March 24, 1889 - † September 13, 1917 ) was a German football player .
Career
societies
Unfried joined FC Stuttgarter Cickers at the age of 13 and was a member of the club until 1916, interrupted by the 1909/10 season when he was active for BFC Preussen .
On June 7, 1908, he and his club reached the final of the German championship , which was lost in Berlin 1: 3 against the Berlin TuFC Viktoria 1889 .
A year later he played for BFC Preussen for one season and played, among other things, the quarter-final game of the final round of the 1910 German Championship, which was lost in Hamburg 1: 4 against Holstein Kiel , alongside teammates like Rudolf Droz , Edwin Dutton , Walter Sorkale and Otto Thiel .
After his professional activity as a trained surveyor in German East Africa , he returned to Stuttgart and completed the 1912/13 season again for FC Stuttgarter Cickers - winning the district league Südkreis and the South German championship. In 1913/14 he was not available to the club due to his job, in 1914/15 there was no game operation, so that he was only available again in the 1915/16 season.
Selection / national team
As a member of the team of the Association of South German Football Associations , he took part in the competition for the Crown Prince's Cup. On November 14, 1909, he played the semi-finals against the selection team of the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs, which was won 6-2 in Nuremberg . With its use, and the gate to the final score in the 75th minute, he contributed to the cup victory, as his national team without him on 10 April 1910 the Berlin Viktoria Square, the national team of the Association of Berlin ballgame teams with 6: 5 n v. He made his debut as a national player on April 24, 1910 in the international match of the senior national team , which lost 4-2 to the Dutch national team in Arnhem .
