Héctor Baldassi
Héctor Walter Baldassi (born January 5, 1966 in Río Ceballos , Córdoba ) is an Argentine international football referee .
He directed his first Argentinian first division game in 1998 and made his international debut just two years later. Baldassi, whose nickname is La Coneja ( Spanish for The Bunny ), has directed several games in CONMEBOL club competitions, including the 2008 Copa Libertadores final . He took part in several international competitions, including the Copa America in 2004 and the Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing. He was nominated for the 2007 U20 World Cup , but was later dismissed because one of his assistants failed the medical tests.
He was selected for the 2010 World Cup .
