Subkhiddin Mohd Salleh

Subkhiddin Mohd Salleh (born November 17, 1966 ) is a former Malaysian football referee who lives in Parit Buntar . He has been an international referee for FIFA since 2000 .

In 2007 he was selected as a referee for the Junior World Cup in Canada , where he was used in three games. In the group stage he directed the games between Panama and Argentina and between Scotland and Costa Rica . In the round of 16 between Chile and Portugal, he sent three players off the field and was involved in an unusual incident: the Portuguese player Zequinha took the red card from his hand when he sent his teammate Manú off. This led to great amusement among the spectators and sports commentators, but also to the immediate expulsion of the player.

In 2008, Mohd Salleh led the second leg of the AFC Champions League final between Adelaide United and Gamba Osaka .

2010 Mohd Salleh was selected as referee for the soccer world championship , but did not lead a game. Instead, he served eight times as the fourth official .

In January 2011 he played at the Asian Cup in Qatar and led the group matches Bahrain - India (5: 2), North Korea - United Arab Emirates (0: 0) and Iraq - North Korea (1: 0). He was also used in the quarter-final match between Qatar and Japan (2-3). At his side stood his compatriot Mohd Sabri Mat Daud and the Chinese Mu Yuxin .
