HMS Scotsman (P243) was a submarine of the British Royal Navy in World War II .
history
The Scotsman ( English: Schotte ) was a boat of the third batch of the S-Class ; this lot is also known as the Seraph class .
The boat was laid on April 15, 1943 at Scott's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. in Greenock, West Scotland , was launched on August 18, 1944 and was put into service by the Royal Navy on December 9, 1944.
The Scotsman was scrapped in Troon in November 1964.
