Hackemühlen ( Low German Hockmöhlen ) is a district of the municipality of Lamstedt in the district of Cuxhaven in Lower Saxony .

Hackemühlen is located between Hemmoor , Hechthausen and Lamstedt. The next major traffic artery is the federal highway 495 , which begins in Glinde (near Bremervörde ) and leads via Lamstedt and Hemmor to Wischhafen and to the continuing Elbe ferry Glückstadt-Wischhafen .

In the local cemetery there is a war cemetery that commemorates nine Russian and Polish forced laborers and prisoners of war who rest in a communal grave.

Foundation of the coat of arms: The place was founded around a water mill at the end of the 16th century, named after the Haake millers. The mill wheel symbolizes this fact. The cleared tree stump is reminiscent of the village of Rahden, which was united with Hackemühlen in 1929.
