In the indoor season 2013/14 , the secured Uhlenhorster HC for the first time Halle title .

The indoor season 2013/14 began on December 6th, 2013. The final round of the last four was supposed to be held in Berlin, but was then moved to Hamburg at short notice due to scheduling conflicts. The women's and men's doubles round was organized by Harvestehuder THC and took place in the Hamburg sports hall .

The champions of the regional leagues north, east, south and west are promoted to the Bundesliga. If this is a second team, the right of promotion goes to the next team.

Newcomers for the 2014/15 season are: Großflottbeker THGC (North), SC Charlottenburg (East), HG Nürnberg (South) and RTHC Bayer Leverkusen (West).
