The 23rd African men's handball championship took place from January 17 to 27, 2018 in the Gabonese capital Libreville . The host was the Confédération Africaine de Handball (CAHB). Tunisia became African champions for the tenth time.

All games of the African Cup of Nations 2018 were played in the newly built Libreville Sports Palace , a multi-purpose hall in Libreville with a capacity of 6,000 spectators.
