The 24th men's handball African Championship took place in Tunisia from January 16 to 26, 2020 .
The host was the Confédération Africaine de Handball (CAHB). The tournament also served as qualification for the 2020 Summer Olympics and the men's handball world championship in 2021 .
The defending champion was the Tunisian men's national handball team .
