The 23rd African Women's Handball Championship took place from December 2 to 12, 2018 in Brazzaville , the capital of the Republic of the Congo . The host was the Confédération Africaine de Handball (CAHB). The 2018 African champions were the Angolan women's national handball team , which won their 13th title.

All the games of the African Cup of Nations 2018 were played in the Palais des sports de Kintélé , a multi-purpose hall opened in 2015 with a capacity of 10,134 spectators and belonging to the Complexe sportif de la Concorde de Kintélé in Brazzaville.
