Hans Christoph von Rosenbusch

Hans Christoph von Rosenbusch (born August 11, 1717 in Leipe , Principality of Schweidnitz , † September 13, 1785 in Kreuzburg ) was a Prussian major general , chief of Hussar Regiment No. 3 and inspector of the West Prussian cavalry regiments.

Life

His parents were Hans Christoph von Rosenbusch, heir to Nieder-Leipe , Petersgrund and Mochau , and his wife Charlotte Hedwig, née von Lehsten from the Kaufung family.

Military career

Rosenbusch went into Saxon services in 1734 and became an ensign in 1736 . In 1741 he joined the Prussian Army and was employed as an ensign in the "von Rampusch" infantry regiment . In the same year he switched to the "Hoditz" hussar regiment as a prime lieutenant . In 1745 he became staff assistant master there and the following year cavalry master . In 1758 he was promoted to major , but in 1759 he was taken prisoner at Rasselwitz . In 1764 he became the regiment commander. Rose bush rose in 1767 to lieutenant colonel on was 1772 Colonel and received in 1777 the Hussars "by Somogyi" . In 1785 he was promoted to major general. He died a short time later on September 13, 1785 in Kreuzburg.

family

Rosenbusch married Ernestine von Pannewitz on April 24, 1762 . The couple had no children, so with royal approval they adopted the Rittmeister Karl Bernhard von Plehwe , who also took the name.

After Rosenbusch's death in 1787, the widow married Major General Karl Franz von Keoszeghy .
