Rasselwitz (Polish: Racławiczki ) is a village in Upper Silesia . Rasselwitz is located in the municipality of Klein Strehlitz ( Strzeleczki ) in the Powiat Krapkowicki (Krappitz district) in the Polish Voivodeship of Opole .

Rasselwitz is six kilometers west of the township seat Klein Strehlitz , 13 kilometers west of the district town Krapkowice (Krappitz) and 25 kilometers southwest of the voivodeship capital Opole .

history
The place was first mentioned in 1383 as Polonicalis Rastlowitz . In 1447 a church was first mentioned in the village.
In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 507 eligible voters voted to remain with Germany and 179 for Poland. Rasselwitz remained with the German Empire . On May 2, 1939, the place was renamed Roßtal . Until 1945 the place was in the district of Neustadt OS
In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration and was renamed Racławiczki and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to Powiat Krapkowicki . On May 17, 2006, German was introduced as the second official language in the community of Klein Strehlitz, which Rasselwitz belongs to. On November 24, 2008, the place was also given the official German place name Rasselwitz .
