Sedschütz , Polish: Dziedzice , is a village in Upper Silesia . Sedschütz is located in the municipality of Klein Strehlitz ( Strzeleczki ) in the Krapkowicki powiat (Krappitz district) in the Polish Opole Voivodeship .

Sedschütz is located seven kilometers west of the township seat Klein Strehlitz , 14 kilometers west of the district town Krapkowice (Krappitz) and 23 kilometers southwest of the voivodeship capital Opole (Opole).

history
The place was first mentioned in 1531.
In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 541 eligible voters voted to remain with Germany and 321 for Poland. Sedschütz remained with the German Empire . In 1933 there were 1,092 inhabitants. In 1939 the place had 1,156 inhabitants. Until 1945 the place was in the district of Neustadt OS .
In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration and was renamed Dziedzice and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to Powiat Krapkowicki . On May 17, 2006 , German was introduced as the second official language in the community of Klein Strehlitz , which Sedschütz belongs to. On November 24, 2008, the place was also given the official German place name Sedschütz .
