Hans Dietrich von Geismar

Hans Dietrich von Geismar (* 1649 in Bad Homburg before the height , † December 27, 1702 in Gleina ) was a Thuringian-Saxon court official.

Life

Hans Dietrich von Geismar was a son of the Hesse-Darmstadt Chamber of Commerce and Chief Chamberlain Eitel Wilhelm von Geismar (1613–1683) and his wife Agnes born. from Mauchenheim called Bechtoldsheim .

He entered the service of Duke August von Sachsen-Weißenfels , became the official governor of Sangerhausen in 1673 and subsequently rose to the position of chamber councilor , chief hunter and chief forester .

In 1672 he became a member of the Fruit Bringing Society with the number 835 and the company name "Der Preisende". His father, "the well-used", was also a member.

Marriage and offspring

He was married to Elisabeth Juliane, a daughter of the Saxon-Gotha steward Georg von Wangenheim (1606–1660) and his wife Agnes von Hertingshausen († 1691). The marriage had four sons and three daughters:
