Hans Slunecko (born February 6, 1968 ) is a former Austrian football player and now coach .

Career

As a player

Slunecko played for SC Wacker Vienna until 1990 . For the 1990/91 season he moved to the second division promoted SR Donaufeld Wien . With Donaufeld he was able to fix relegation as second in the “relegation playoff” that season. After a season at Donaufeld, he joined the first division First Vienna FC for the 1991/92 season . In July 1991 he made his debut for Vienna in the 1st division when he was in the starting line-up on the first day of that season against Kremser SC . After being on the penultimate place in the table during the winter break, he had to go to the "middle playoff" with the club. There they missed relegation as fifth in the table and had to relegate to the 2nd division . In his first season with Vienna he came to a total of 18 appearances in the 1st division and twelve appearances in the playoff, in which he remained without a goal.

After the descent of the Viennese he switched to the first-class LASK for the 1992/93 season, initially on loan . For the Upper Austrians Slunecko completed twelve games in the 1st division, in which he remained without a hit. After a few months in the Upper Austrian capital, he returned to Vienna in October 1992 during the current season. After his return he scored his first goal for the Viennese in a 2-0 win against LUV Graz in April 1993 . By the end of the season he came to 18 missions for the club in the relegation playoff, which, however, ended as first in the table.

In the 1993/94 season he was used in 20 second division games for Vienna and was able to score two goals. At the end of the season he was with the club in sixth place in the table in the 2nd division. In the following season 1994/95 Slunecko completed 26 games in the second division and scored one goal. At the end of the season, Vienna was in third place in the table, the gap to the second in the table and thus the participant in the promotion relegation SV Ried was six points. In the 1995/96 season he came to 23 missions in the 2nd division, in which he remained without a hit. As in the previous season, he finished the season with Vienna in third place.

In August 1996 he scored his first brace for Vienna in a 5-0 win against the Favoritner AC . In his last season for the club, he completed 25 games and scored eight goals this season; he had never managed so many in one season before. At the end of the season they were in third place for the third time in a row, but this time they were only two points behind the second SK Vorwärts Steyr . After six seasons with Vienna, he moved to the 1997/98 season for regional division SC Untersiebenbrunn . With the Lower Austrians he was able to become champions of the Regionalliga Ost that season , but in the relegation for promotion they failed after a win and a draw at FC Austria / VSV .

For the 1998/99 season Slunecko moved to league rivals Floridsdorfer AC . In his six months at FAC, he played in 15 regional league games and scored one goal. In the winter break of that season he moved on to league rivals SC Eisenstadt . For the Burgenland he was used in 15 games and scored two goals, but he had to relegate with the club at the end of the season as penultimate from the regional league, the club from the Burgenland capital had missed two points on relegation.

After relegation, Slunecko joined the regional league team ASK Kottingbrunn for the 1999/2000 season . In his first season for the Lower Austrians, he was used in 29 of 30 season games and scored one goal. At the end of the season he finished tenth in the table with the club. After another six months at Kottingbrunn, he moved to the fifth-class SKN St. Pölten in January 2001 . With St. Pölten he was promoted to the national league at the end of the 2000/01 season . In the first season of the SKN in the national league Slunecko completed 21 games in which he was able to score twelve goals. At the end of the season he rose again with the club as champions of the regional league and thus reached the march from the 2nd regional league to the regional league.

After promotion to the regional league, he moved to the fifth-rate SC Neunkirchen for the 2002/03 season . After a season at Neunkirchen, he joined the fourth-class amateurs of SK Rapid Vienna for the 2003/04 season , for which he was active for one season. For the 2004/05 season he moved to SV Großweikersdorf . Subsequently, Slunecko partly used himself in his coaching stations, as he did at SC Ostbahn XI , SV Würmla and FV Austria XIII . He also played for the lower-class clubs FC Illmitz , ASV Statzendorf , FC Vienna Celtics , ASK Schlöglmühl , SVR Wolfersberg and UFC St. Peter / Wechsel until the end of his career in 2011 .

As a trainer

Slunecko took over the fourth-class SC Ostbahn XI as a trainer in October 2004 . He finished his first season as head coach of the Viennese club in seventh place in the Vienna City League . In October 2005, the Ostbahn parted from Slunecko.

In the second half of the 2005/06 season he trained the fourth-class IC favorites . With favorites he ended that season in seventh place in the table. For the 2006/07 season he was coach of the regional division SV Würmla . In his two seasons as coach of the Lower Austrians he was able to fix the league with the club with places twelve and seven. After the 2007/08 season he left Würmla.

During the winter break of the 2009/10 season he was coach of the fourth-class Rennweger SV 1901 , which he coached until the end of that season. For the 2011/12 season he took over the FV Austria XIII . After almost two years as coach of Austria XIII, he resigned from his post in May 2013. For the 2013/14 season he took over the fourth-rate amateurs of the second division First Vienna FC , for which he had already played as a player. With Vienna II he had to relegate to the end of the season due to the descent of the professionals from the city league. In June 2014 he became head coach of the third-class first team of Vienna. In April 2015 Slunecko was replaced by Andreas Lipa , the Viennese were at that point in time after 24 match days in fourth place in the table.

For the 2015/16 season he was coach of the fifth-class FC Karabakh Vienna . With the club he was able to rise to the end of the season as champion of the 2nd regional league in the Vienna City League. Despite the rise, he was replaced by Volkan Kahraman in June 2016 . In July 2017 he became assistant coach of the third class amateurs of FK Austria Wien . At the end of the season he rose to the 2nd league with the amateurs of Austria . After the promotion he left Austria.
