The haplogroup W is a haplogroup of the mitochondria ( mrDNA ) in human genetics .

Haplogroup W appears in Europe , West and South Asia. Her ancestor is haplogroup N.

Minorities of this tribe have been found everywhere, with the highest concentration in northern Pakistan . An unnamed N * tribe was found among Australian Aborigines .
