Hartwig Unterberger

Hartwig Karl Unterberger (* 1934 in Schwaz ; † March 14, 2019 ) was an Austrian painter and sculptor .

Life

Hartwig Karl Unterberger was born in 1934 as the son of the Schwaz artist Karl Severin Unterberger . He studied at the Toni Kirchmayr painting and drawing school in Innsbruck and then at the Academia de Belas Artes de São Paulo in Brazil. In 1965 he became a member of the Tyrolean Art Association . He lived and worked in Münster . His works include oil paintings, glass paintings and sculptures made of stone, wood and bronze.

He had been married since 1959 and had three children. Hartwig Unterberger died on March 14, 2019 at the age of 84.
