Haseloff is part of the municipality of Haseloff-Grabow , a district of the official municipality Mühlenfließ in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district in Brandenburg . The place belongs to the office of Niemegk .

location

Haseloff is located on the northern edge of the Hohe Fläming in the nature park of the same name, about four kilometers east of Niemegk and about nine kilometers west of Treuenbrietzen . Surrounding villages are Grabow in the north, Niederwerbig in the northeast, Treuenbrietzen in the east, the district Rietz belonging to the city of Treuenbrietzen in the southeast, the district Hohenwerbig belonging to the city of Niemegk in the southwest, Niemegk in the west and the district Mörz belonging to the municipality of Planetal in the northwest.

The federal highway 102 from Bad Belzig to Jüterbog and the county road 6919 run through Haseloff . The Niemegk junction on the federal highway 9 is about six kilometers away.

history

The place Haseloff was first mentioned in 1377 under the name czum haselope . The origin of the place name is unclear, it is probably of Slavic or Flemish origin and means place where the rabbits run .

In the village church of Haseloff is a rectangular stone building , built in the second half of the 13th century.

The Bad Belzig – Treuenbrietzen railway ran through Haseloff , where the place had a stop with Haseloff-Niederwerbig . This line was closed in 1962.

Haseloff has always been in the Kingdom of Prussia and there in the administrative district of Potsdam . On July 25, 1952, the community was assigned to the then newly formed Belzig district in the Potsdam district . On February 1, 1974 Haseloff was merged with the neighboring Grabow to form the new community Haseloff-Grabow . After the reunification , Haseloff-Grabow was in the Belzig district in Brandenburg and joined the Niemegk office on February 11, 1992 . After the district reform in Brandenburg on December 6, 1993 , the community finally came to the newly formed district of Potsdam-Mittelmark . On July 1, 2002, Haseloff-Grabow was merged together with the previously independent municipalities of Nichel , Niederwerbig and Schlalach to form the new municipality of Mühlenfließ .
