Heid is a district of the city of Eisfeld in the Hildburghausen district in Thuringia .

Heid is located southeast of Eisfeld on the county road 530 at the foot of the foothills to the Thuringian Slate Mountains in the Werra Valley . The railway line of the Eisfeld – Sonneberg railway line passes directly north of the village.
