Heinrich Rolfing

Heinrich Rolfing (born August 18, 1958 in Alstätte , municipality of Ahaus ) is a German actor .

Life

Rolfing completed an acting training at the drama school of the University of the Arts in Berlin from 1982 to 1986 . During his training, Rolfing took part in various university productions. In it he played, among others, Laertes and the gravedigger in Hamlet (1983), the chief inspector in Faith, Love and Hope (1984) and the title role in Marat / Sade (1986).

Rolfing had theater engagements in Berlin, New York , Münster and Leipzig . He was often involved in productions by independent theater ensembles, in performances (theater, staged reading, monodrama ) and theater projects with an improvisational character. Rolfing has worked several times in theater projection in the dual role of actor and director .

Among other things, he played at the Theater im Zimmer Berlin (1988, as Jan in Der gute Gott von Manhattan ), several times at the Theater Zerbbreche Fenster in Berlin (1998 as Slim in Von Mäusen und Menschen ; 2006 as an officer in a stage version of the novel Letters of Love by Maria Nurowska ), at the Nada Theater in New York (1994, performance Faust on the Reeperbahn ), at the Theater im Pumpenhaus in Münster / Westf. (1995) and at the Theater zum western Stadthirschen in Berlin. There he appeared in 1997 as adjutant / pastor / officer in a stage version of the novel Das große Heft , as a narrator in My Friends by Emmanuel Bove and in 2000 as Cotrone in Die Riesen vom Berge .

Since the early 1990s, Rolfing has also taken on film roles in feature films and television series . In the film comedy Superstau (1991) he played the old rocker Lars. In the film satire No Pardon (1993) he played the production manager Herbert under the direction of Hape Kerkeling .

He had leading and supporting roles in various television series, including Alphateam - Die Lebensretter im OP (1996, as haulier Bodo Michalowski), in Section 40 (2003), in SOKO Wismar (2009, as Angler Fiete), Notruf Hafenkante (2009, as taxi driver Heinrich Siebold) and twice in Unser Charly (1999 as the Gebauer Bioreservatsleiter; 2010 as sculptor Ferdinand Merk in the episode Ehrlich lasts longest ) and In the face of crime (2010).
