Henning Löhlein

Henning Löhlein (* 1965 in Germany ) is a German illustrator who lives and works in Bristol . His work has appeared in many newspapers and magazines, including The Guardian , Hörzu , Financial Times , die Welt and he has illustrated thirty books to date. His illustrations were based on texts by Werner Holzwarth , Katja Reider , Manfred Mai and Gudrun Pausewang . Every year since 2006 he has been selected for the exhibition of the German Caricature Prize .

life and work

Henning Löhlein grew up in Bonn , Germany, and studied for three years in the south of France before coming to Bristol, England on a scholarship, where he finished his illustration studies. He then studied for an MA at the University of Brighton ("sequential illustration").
