Out of jealousy over the infidelity of her husband Zeus , the goddess Hera takes out all her anger on Hercules the son of Zeus and Alcmene . The demigod has to watch impotently how the angry goddess kills his wife Deianeira and his children. Thereupon he goes thirsting for vengeance through the country to destroy all seven temples of Hera. Since he can no longer hear people in need of help in this state, his companion Iolaus takes on one of their problems. It is a matter of stopping a demoness who was sent from Hera to Ister, because the inhabitants there had refused to sacrifice their firstborn sons to the goddess. The demoness is up to mischief by turning the men there to stone with her tail and stealing their souls. Iolaus looks for the demoness in her cave, where he wants to kill her, but fails and is also petrified. When Hercules frees the slave Aegina during the destruction of the first temple , he finds himself through her and decides to come to the aid of the people in Ister. It comes to a fight between Hercules and the demoness, in the course of which the son of Zeus brings the monster to touch itself with its own tail, whereupon it petrifies itself. Iolaus and the other men are transformed back as the same and life in Ister resumes its usual course.
2 | 2 | Hercules and the guardian of the vineyard | Eye of the Beholder | Jan. 23, 1995 | Dec 15, 1995 | John T. Kretchmer | John Schulian |
On the run from King Thespios ' fifty daughters, all of whom want to be impregnated by Hercules, the demigod arrives in Trachis , where he prefers to mess with a giant cyclops . The hostile giant is threatening the livelihood of the locals there as it has diverted the life-giving river to irrigate the Heras vineyards. The Cyclops loses the argument with Hercules, but the demigod can make the one-eyed man understand that he is only used by Hera. When the Cyclops doubts the sense of his actions, the Mother of Gods lets go of her executioners to kill all who stand in the way of the flow of her wine. The two opponents then join forces and destroy those who have been let loose. The inhabitants, who had made the giant hostile through their pejorative behavior in the past, vow to get better and make peace with the Cyclops.
3 | 3 | The trip to Calydon | The Road to Calydon | Jan. 30, 1995 | Dec 22, 1995 | Doug Lefler | Andrew Dettmann & Daniel Truly |
Zeus once betrayed his wife with another beautiful girl, to whom he gave a golden goblet. Hera found this out, cursed Parthus, the hometown of the beautiful, and turned the girl into a dog. Years later, Hercules meets the refugees of war looking for land in the haunted ghost town. He warns the people of the curse and decides to lead them to Calydon , where they would be safe. However, one of the refugees had stolen the golden chalice from the Hera temple in the ghost town, as a result of which the goddess' wrath accompanied them on their journey. On the way, surprised by a rain of stones, the travelers take refuge in the "Minoan caves", but are then pursued by awakened skeletal warriors. After Hercules was able to smash Hera's bony henchmen, the refugees move on to the Stymphalian swamps. There a winged monster lies in wait for them, who is also defeated by Hercules. The unfortunate goblet is finally found with Broteas, the leader of the refugees, whereupon the thief is chased away and the people reach Calydon unharmed.

Hercules and the Amazon Ephiny want to save a village that is threatened by a volcanic eruption from extinction by blasting a hole in the side of the mountain with explosive crystals from Atlantis so that the lava can flow in a different direction. They are recruiting a few helpers for their company, including Kurth, who was charged with the murder of Okun, the son of the centaur Nagus, and sentenced to death. The undertaking is made more difficult by Okun's former cronies, who like Nagus also want to take revenge on Kurth and repeatedly attack the adventure troop. Nagus can finally overcome his desire for revenge and helps bring the project to a close. In the end, Kurth settles his guilt by jumping into the volcano with the crystals himself instead of Nagus or Hercules, who are fighting over who should sacrifice themselves, and triggering the saving explosion.

Hercules is asked to come to the aid of the prophetess of the oracle of Cyprus, because she had seen her own death in a vision. He is accompanied by his old love Morrígan and shared memories. The reason for the vision of the prophetess is the resurrected Havisha, who was prophesied by the prophetess in the past that she would find happiness with her lover Drayus; however, shortly after their engagement, the two were killed by vagabond villains. Havisha takes fatal revenge on the vagabond and, angry about the supposed lie, wants to kill the prophetess as well. After a fight with Hercules, thanks to his words, she returns to love and is released from her undead existence. The prophetess then quits her job because the failure to fulfill her vision makes it clear to her that one can triumph over fate.

Hercules and Iolaus visit their old friend Nemesis, who together with Ares has a young son named Evander, who has the divine gift to make things come true only through his imagination. Meanwhile, Evander's grandfather Zeus has to reconcile himself with his wife Hera . He kidnaps the boy in order with his help to free Hera from the depths of the Tartaros , because when Kronos created the Tartaros, he made sure that only the power of a god paired with the innocence of a child can open the abyss. However, not only Hera, who is suffering from amnesia, is freed, but also the titans Helios and Oceanus, who are held captive by the gods . Ares, who strives to be the only god on earth, allies himself with the two titans in order to free their brother Atlas , who was frozen by Zeus in an ice prison, and then to destroy Olympus . After Atlas' liberation, Hercules and Iolaus get into a fight with Helios and Oceanus. You can play the powers of the two titans against each other, whereby they destroy themselves. Ares and Atlas have meanwhile reached Olympus, where Ares shows Atlas the way into the interior of Olympus, assuming that he would be spared. There Atlas is supposed to break the pillar of Olympus, so that the mountain of the gods collapses (according to Hercules such a collapse would throw planet earth out of its orbit and the people would either burn or freeze to death). When Hercules arrives there and tries to prevent the titan from knocking over the column, Hera, who now remembers, shows up with Evander. Just as the pillar falls, the still angry goddess fires a bolt of lightning at Hercules, but the latter can repel and deflect it so that Atlas is hit by it. The titan solidifies instantly and thus, through its petrified body, takes on the function of the pillar, thereby protecting Olympus and the world from collapsing for all eternity. Evander, who was fatally wounded by fragments of the fallen column, is finally brought back to life by the joint forces of Zeus and Hera and is later given to his mother. A reconciliation between Zeus, Hera and Hercules appears possible in view of the dramatic events. |
