Kevin Sorbo (2013)

Kevin David Sorbo (born September 24, 1958 in Mound , Minnesota ) is an American actor .

Life

The son of Norwegian parents studied at Minnesota State University Moorhead and traveled the world as a teenager. He began his acting career as a model and advertising actor, the first highlight of which was a commercial for a whiskey manufacturer: here he coined the phrase "This is not Jim Beam ".

Sorbo achieved great fame through the television series Hercules and Andromeda , in which he plays the main characters: the Greek son of the gods and folk hero and the spaceship captain Dylan Hunt, who wakes up after three hundred years of imprisonment in the event horizon of a black hole and tries to restore order in the chaotic galaxy . With both series he had a permanent place in the regular television business for about a decade.

Besides that, Sorbo didn't have many other successful or well-known roles, apart from that of "Kull" in the fantasy film of the same name, which appeared directly on video.

On January 5, 1998, he married actress Sam Jenkins . The couple has three children.

He is the chairman and press spokesman for “A World Fit For Kids”, an organization that tries, with the help of advisors, to convey a positive attitude towards life to city children through school, fitness and sport.

It is mostly dubbed by Ekkehardt Belle and Torsten Michaelis .
