The Hirschhorner Höhe is a mountain range in the Hessian Odenwald , which is located in the area of Beerfelden and Rothenberg in the Odenwaldkreis and Hirschhorn (Neckar) in the Bergstrasse district. A small part in the southeast belongs to Eberbach in the North Baden Rhein-Neckar district .
In the center of the predominantly wooded Hirschhorner Höhe, the only clearing island is the field markings and the location of Rothenberg ( 420 m above sea level ) with the unspecified summit of the ridge on the eastern edge of the village ( 494.5 m above sea level ). The Hirschhorner Höhe extends in the Buntsandstein-Odenwald from the Main - Neckar - Wasserscheide near Beerfelden ( 460 m above sea level ) in the north via Rothenberg to the Steinerner Tisch ( 390 m above sea level ) in the south and runs in the Feuerberg ( 341.1 m above sea level ) over the Neckar valley between Hirschhorn ( 126 m above sea level ) and Igelsbach ( 235 m above sea level ). The north-south extension is around 13 kilometers. In the west and east, the valleys of Finkenbach and Gammelsbach, approaching the Neckar, limit the ridge, leaving it almost three kilometers wide in the north and four and a half kilometers in the south.

Over the northern part of the Hirschhorner Höhe, the winding state road L 3410 runs as a branch from the state road L 3119 and connects Beerfelden with Rothenberg and Kortelshütte, and then descends into the Finkenbach valley, where it joins the L 3119, which leads to Hirschhorn. To the east of Kortelshütte there is a glider airfield that extends to the Hessian border.
