Universities is the name of a quarter in the city of Zurich . It forms today along with the neighborhoods Lindenhof , City Hall and City the circuit 1 , the old town of Zurich.

The central buildings of the two Zurich universities, the University of Zurich and the ETH Zurich are located in an elevated position in the university quarter . The two universities also have campuses outside this quarter (Irchel campus of the university, Hönggerberg of the ETH).
