The Hohenleipisch nature reserve is located in the municipality of Hohenleipisch in the Elbe-Elster district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1608 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of November 24, 2005 . The approximately 169 hectare nature reserve extends north of the center of Hohenleipisch. The state road L 62 runs along the southeastern edge, while the approximately 670 hectare nature reserve Der Loben extends to the east .
