The Kleine Röder nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the town of Bad Liebenwerda in the Elbe-Elster district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1623 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of June 1, 2011 . The 385- hectare nature reserve extends southwest of Zeischa , a district of Bad Liebenwerda, along the Kleine Röder , a left tributary of the Große Röder . The state road L 64 runs to the west, east and through the area and the L 593 to the east. The state border with Saxony runs along the south and south-east edge of the area .
