The Lugkteich area nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the city of Sonnewalde in the Elbe-Elster district in Brandenburg .

The area with the identification number 1603 was placed under nature protection by ordinance of February 13, 2008 . The approximately 328 hectare nature reserve with the Lugkteich extends northwest of the core town of Sonnewalde and west of Zeckerin , a district of Sonnewalde. The B 96 runs to the east and the L 703 state road not far to the south .
