Homosexuality has been legal in Mongolia since 1961 . The age of consent is 16 years, regardless of sexual orientation.

An anti-discrimination law has been in place at the statutory level since 2015, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

Same-sex marriage is not allowed in Mongolia .
