The Catholic Church (1733–1741) was built in the late Baroque style; the former bishop's palace was completed in 1797. The associated castle garden is now a protected arboretum . A protected plant species that thrives in the area is the Banat peony , which blooms in May.

The administrative area of the municipality includes Püspökszentlászló and Kisújbánya , two settlements of the "Eastern Mecsek Mountains" protected landscape area . The village festival takes place in late June at the fair instead of Püspökszentlászló.
