Hu Yulan

Hu Yulan - also Hu Yu-lan - is a former Chinese table tennis player with the greatest success in the 1970s. In 1973 she became world champion in singles.

Hu Yulan was an attacking player with a shakehand bat stance. She took part in the 1973 and 1975 World Championships . In 1973 she won the singles final against the Czech Alica Grofová and became world champion. She finished second with the Chinese women's team. In 1975 she left the individual early, but she won gold with the team.

At the Asian Championships of ATTU ( Asian Championship ATTU ) she came with the team in 1972 in first place and in 1974 in second place. She also won the Asian Games with the team.

In the ITTF world rankings she was led at the end of 1973 and 1974 at number one.
