Cao Yanhua

Cao Yanhua ( Chinese  曹 燕華  /  曹 燕华 , Pinyin Cáo Yànhuá ; born December 1, 1962 ) is a former Chinese table tennis player . In the 1980s she won the world title seven times.

World championships

Cao Yanhua plays penholder style. Between 1979 and 1985 she took part in four world championships with the following results:

End of career

In 1985 she went to Japan with her husband, a year later she ended her international career and began studying at Jiatong University in Shanghai.

In 1987 she moved to Germany and played in the women's Bundesliga until 1992 at VSC 1862 Donauwörth . Then she moved to SG Marßel ​​Bremen, where she could not be used due to pregnancy. In 1999 she founded a table tennis school ( Cao Yanhua table tennis school ) in Shanghai .

Cao Yanhua is married to Shi Zhihao (team world champion 1981).
